The past reflects the future: The History of Charlotte House
The Newbridge Business Centre team have worked hard to bring the historic Charlotte House in the centre of Newbridge Town back to life. This beautiful building holds many memories – it used to be the town’s main Post Office!
Interestingly, the youngest daughter of the Post Office Master Henry Yardley, Kathleen Lonsdale became a renowned biophysicist, crystallographer and peace campaigner.
This eminent female scientist blazed several trails for women in science. She wrote publicly about the change’s society needed to make so that women could succeed in both their domestic and working lives. Later in life she also became a leader in the scientific community's defiance against war.
This is the important crystal formation that is named after Kathleen - The Lonsdale Crystal. We honour her work in our Logo and graphics we use in the building today.

Our Location
Newbridge Business Centre is located at the heart of the bustling Newbridge town in the renowned thoroughbred county of Kildare.
Our hub is just 400m from the local Newbridge train station with frequent direct links to Dublin city centre and the rest of the country – a service due to increase even more in 2023/2024.
Bus Services to and from Dublin are also located metres away.
Newbridge Business Centre is surrounded by multiple shops, cafes and restaurants, plus local services such as bank and postal services. Catering can be organised upon request for meetings and co creation events.
As we are a town centre location there are approximately 2,500 parking spaces withing 5 minutes' walk of our front door. This map shows you the nearest Car Parks for easy parking. There is also on street parking where you can stay for up to two hours per session.
