We are Hiring: Temporary Caretaker/Handyman required

We are looking for a reliable Caretaker/Handyman to undertake upkeep and repair tasks at f our business centre premises. This is a temporay position commencing mid May 2026 for 3 months.

We will rely on you to keep our facilities in perfect condition by doing various odd jobs. The position of Caretaker/Handyman has responsibility for managing the day-to-day running of the business centre facilities.


Overview: Newbridge Business Centre is a new fit for purpose facility in the centre of Newbridge, Co Kildare. We will provide a state-of-the-art business environment for up to 60 local professionals.


 Responsibilities:

·         Opening/Closing Building: 4 hours a day: 8-10am & 5-7pm. Monday-Friday.

·         Liaise with the reception team

·         Undertake duties as assigned

·         Identify and report the need for major repairs.

·         Liaise with the business centres cleaning company to ensure an appropriate level of service is provided.

 

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as a handyman

  • Good communication

  • Well-organized and apt in problem-solving

  • Attention to detail

·         Cultivate professional and appropriate relationships with other members of staff

·         Good interpersonal skills with a courteous and professional manner

·         Manual Handling / First Aid training is preferable but not essential
